Based: Leeds, West Yorkshire. Salary £22,000 – £28,000
Market Leading Medical Device Manufacturer requires a Project Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer who will apply their specialist engineering design expertise to ongoing investigations and the ongoing development of the company’s portfolio.
This role could be described as a “trouble-shooter” that sits within the New Product Development Team. For instance, you will support the Operations team from a device design standpoint with supplier re-sourcing and cost rationalization. Being responsible for the quick delivery of project milestones for medical devices, you will co—ordinate outsourced operations and external vendors to deliver against agreed timescales and solve problems with suppliers and customers when required.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of 3D CAD, and will have a mechanical engineering background; presently in a design or projects- based role, or maybe in a Production Engineering role but looking to move into an office-based environment. Furthermore, the recruit will have ability to relate well to people at all levels.
